Women of Jazz: Jazz Urbane Cafe at ICA/Boston

Jazz Urbane Cafe returns to the ICA with a very special evening of Boston’s star-powered musicians performing the music of female jazz composers. Featuring renowned violinist Chelsey Green and the Jazz Urbane Imagine Orchestra, led by Dr. Bill Banfield, the concert celebrates the music and artistry of some of the most respected and critically acclaimed women writing jazz today. Hear the sounds of the Jazz Urbane Cafe opening soon in Nubian Square, a vibrant new venue blending performing arts and local cuisine in celebration of Boston’s musical history.
